Connection

Located in the centre of the Mediterranean Sea, the Maltese Islands offer proximity to major European gateways primarily through its national airline Air Malta. A number of other European airlines also operate a scheduled service to the island. Code shared agreements between airlines and a daily service to main European airport hubs, broadens Malta’s accessibility to other parts of the world through connecting flights.

Culture3sixty provides flight assistance as an added service to our clients, including private jet services, for those event organisers that wish for their delegates to travel in style.

Besides air connectivity, Malta also benefits from a regular high-speed catamaran service to Italy – a convenient way to connect to main land Europe in just 90 minutes. Malta’s more secluded sister island Gozo, also offers a small selection of high-end properties suitable for the MICE market. It is easily accessible from mainland Malta via a scheduled ferry or seaplane service with an average transfer time of 20 minutes.

Malta is small in size and just measures 316 square kilometres. Airport transfers to main hotels and resorts, and resorts to main cities last on average 20 minutes. This is a major benefit for conference and incentive event programmes, as it allows for a comfortable mix of work and pleasure for the participants within a short time frame.

Malta is a member of the Schengen states allowing further ease of access for visitors to our island.
Besides our great all round weather conditions and rich culture, accessibility to the island makes Malta the ideal meeting place for your events.
